A full credit report is the most vital part of the process and having access to your full credit report from one of the many credit agencies will help us decide on those lenders who may be sympathetic. Most of the credit agencies allow a free trial so you can obtain a detailed report for your adviser. The suggested credit agencies are Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
FULL FINANCIAL INFORMATION
Along with your credit reports your financial circumstances are important for your adviser to be aware of. Full income details and any outstanding credit commitments along with knowledge of your deposit amount or equity will allow us to understand your overall financial position to present your case to the best lender for you.
IMPROVING A CREDIT SCORE

Talk to a specialist adviser asap!. Ensure you’re on the electoral roll. Pay your bills on time, preferably on a monthly direct debit. Check that your address history is correct, especially if you’ve moved recently. If you have CCJs, make sure they’re satisfied. Try not to depend on loans and overdrafts. Don’t apply with multiple mortgage lenders and don’t take out PayDay loans for 12 months before applying for a mortgage.
